Hi. I've been struggling with bulimia and anorexia and ocd for a good 6 or so years. I was put away 2 times for it. I always seem to hide it in front of others. I lie and make them think I am okay when I'm not. I will live with this for the rest of my life. I can't stop being such a perfectionist. I get so paranoid from it though where I start feeling like I'm schizophrenic or something. Idk. I just wish my loved ones knew without me telling them how bad i actually feel and am doing. I am nothing like I used to be. But everyday is still a big battle. I have overcome a lot but it still is always there. Idk. Idk why I even posted.
I had a similar problem, I stopped eating and worked out like crazy to lose weight. Just know that you are beautiful and someone will notice because you are amazing and someone has to notice that you are not the same. Just stay strong ❤️
Hello, Im Lacie and I've been struggling with Bulimia since I was 8 years old. Along with self-harm and depression. I've had a altered perception about myself for as long as I can remember. I tend to be super secretive about my binging and purging habits. I've only ever told my boyfriend about it because he began to get suspicious. I still haven't worked the courage up to see a doctor about it. I think that it's rooted to abuse that I had to endure as a child. I don't exactly know how but It's the only traumatic thing that has ever happened in my life. I also know yoy don't have to have something traumatizing happen. But it's worth mentioning.
Oh, I've spoken to my doctor about my depression. But im admittedly to embarrassed to talk about any of the other stuff.
Hi I'm Emily I have struggled with restrictive eating habits as well as purging since I was in high school I am now 22 and feel like I am slipping into old habits. It is a little strange because technically I do not meet any of the DSM criteria for anything so I guess for a long time I didn't think I actually had a problem. I know now that I did since I was pretty underweight and is why I came here because I don't want to go back down that path.
HI I'm Jen. I'm 27. I have severe depression. And I just don't know how to handle it. My depression comes hard and all I want to do is cry.
Hola soy Carolina y tengo anorexia desde los 15 años, tres recaidas .Por el momento perdi 9 kg y el amor de mi familia. Siento que me odian y yo a mi mas por eso. Espero no molestar con mi precencia .
Hi, I am 20 and have suffered on and off with an eating disorder since I was 10 years old. Currently I feel that I am relapsing back into it
hi all,
I'm 21 and have been dealing with bulimia and EDNOS since I was 13. I've been in recovery for the last 2 years. It's been a hard road, but I'm slowly getting there. I think it took me so long to get recovery because everyone just pays attention to stats and how often you use your habits. I want to help people feel like their ED is just as serious if they aren't underweight.
I'm 17 and have had an eating disorder for 5 years. I was diagnosed with depression 4 years ago and bulimia just over a year ago and now anorexia a few weeks ago. I'm currently in intensive outpatient(IOP) treatment but it still struggling a lot. I'm not underweight but I haven't stopped losing since being in treatment so they told me I have to gain a little of that back or they'll move me up to the Day program
I've been able to meet my meal plan the past few days but I've still felt super weak and have been blacking out more. I'm really scared I'll still lose even after increasing by TW600TW calories. Really nervous about it
My name is Megan and I am 15 years old. For as long as I can remember my parents have always said stuff about my weight. They used to call me fat because I wasn't as skinny as my sisters were. I started to stop eating and workout twice everyday. One of my friends noticed when I was about to pass out in school. He took care of me and still watches out for me. My parents made me feel bad about myself and I started self harming. Now I am doing much better and I am starting to accept myself for me. I'm starting to be happy again
I love hearing that you're starting to accept yourself more now - that's fantastic! I hope you're really proud of your progress. You deserve to be happy and it sounds like you're on your way! <3
