Emotional abuse
My parents are always criticising me. Especially my mom. She will get mad at me for wearing worn-out pants, or not brushing my hair the 'right' way, or not sweeping up every thing from the floor
But she is also nice to me sometimes, she will buy me cool stuff and she is nice to me in public.
And yet I hear her talking to my dad all the time, within my earshot, and laughing about my shortcomings. She always threatens to take my stuff, even my most important stuff, has occasionally threatened not to feed me, or to leave me places, like abandon me while she is on vacation. She is overly controlling and she either dosent let me join clubs or she makes me feel ashamed for joining them.
I don't want to report her, because I love her and don't want her to get in trouble, but I don't know if I can handle this much longer.
Please Help! I don't know what to do!

That's terrible! I am so sorry!

It really breaks my heart to hear that your going through this. Emotional abuse is a really painful thing that can hurt more then any wound. It grieves me deeply to see people suffering from it.
Your a beautiful person for loving her anyway, and not wanting to get her in trouble but I do hope you understand that this is behavior you shouldn't tolerate. She's obligated to care for you, and be concerned about how she's treating you. She shouldn't be criticizing you and overreacting when you do something minor such as miss a few dustbunnies or wear clothes she thinks you shouldn't be wearing. And she shouldn't be threatening to abandon you, or withhold food from you. Your not her parent, you shouldn't have to call her out over bad behavior. This is something you should be talking about. This is behavior she needs to be held accountable for. That person doesn't have to be you however. Given that your probably still dependent on them for care but, are there family members you feel safe enough to talk about this with [*** a grandparent, a cousin, an uncle or aunt]? Is there a support group irl that you could join? You could also try talking to your parents about this IF and only IF you feel safe enough to and trust that they'll change their behavior.
Idk if anything I've said has been helpful, but I hope you remember this-you are loved, and your value is not defined by peoples criticisms of you <3
