HI,

My name is Michelle. First, thanks to all who read this post.

To provide a brief overview of my situation, I am pint-sized with a few health problems, ADHD included. I also had pituitary tumours removed, and this may have had some bearing on my ADD. I also have hormonal imbalances.

It's these imbalances that cause some rather frustrating weight issues. I suffer from bloat and am cautious about what I eat. The key point is that my family members are a little narcissistic and emotionally disconnected. They refuse to believe that my problems are other than imagined.

They now isolate me. While I understand that my situation means that I can't always join them for meals and such, I get a feeling that I am beling deliberately isolated. Any advice?

@Midget40

If they are really narcissistic, negative and toxic, you should remove them from your life. But make sure you have enough positive people to support you during these difficult Times. All the best.

One of the nicest coworkers i had was short and round. She was adorable, chearfull, and pleasure to work with. When I saw her last time, after she quit, she lost a lot of weight. You might look into some of those new obesity meds everyone is on these days.
