Spirituality
I was born into an Irish Catholic heritage, I went to Catholic schools and by the end of my schooling (I only attended religious events to satisfy my family) By grade 12 (Australia) I was over it and didn't believe.
As an adult I've found peace in Buddhism.
How do I start to explore my own beliefs and follow my own path when living with family who don't follow the same beliefs.
I would love to connect with others who believe in any spiritual growth. (Please don't feel like you can't comment because of your beliefs, I'm interested in hearing it all)

I too am a Catholic and I understand you have found peace within Buddhism.
It won't be easy telling family but you need to live a life that makes you happy!
I've explored many faiths and travelled the world, and i know I have found the right religion for me!
What matters most is that you are happy and your faith adds to your life and your treatment of others!

I was born in a certain religion but I didnt choose it until I did my exploration.
I think its important to be true to yourself.

Happy for you trying to find peace. I found it in Islam, it made perfect sense, it is the only really monotheistic religion in the world. In it, we believe that there is no Deity worthy of worship in truth, besides the One True God. Islam advocates goodness and prohibits evil. The media potrays it badly and there are many lies and misconceptions about it. But if you are sincere, study about it from authentic sources and learn the truth for yourself.
Your story reminds of someone on yt (channel OneWayToParadise) he used to be a Buddhist his life journey is also available on his channel. He teaches on livestreams, you are warmly welcome to attend if interested.
Have a good one! I hope your family accepts and respects your beliefs. Even if they don't, don't be sad because at the end of the day, we are here for ourselves, we are accountable for our own deeds.
Be nice to them even if they are mean to you.
"The good deed and the evil deed cannot be equal. Repel (the evil) with one which is better (i.e. Allâh orders the faithful believers to be patient at the time of anger, and to excuse those who treat them badly) then verily he, between whom and you there was enmity, (will become) as though he was a close friend." (Qur'an 41:34)
