Grown daughter just don't understand!
My 25 year old daughter just don't understand what I deal with in taking care of my partner. My partner is 44 and has always been the one to do the things I wasn't able to do due to a back injury. Her terminal illness has gotten worse very fast. And now she's not able to help me.my daughter just don't understand that I can't just stop what I'm doing to talk or video chat when SHE wants too. Then I gets texts from her asking what are they not good enough for me? I would love to just be able to sit around and wait for her chats. But what it takes someone normally 2 hours to do takes me all day. I've tried to explain that and she just don't get it.
@tidyMap5719 I'm so sorry to hear you're experiencing these hardships and the struggles with your daughter! I can imagine it's incredibly draining and stressful, and it sounds like your daughter isn't understanding as well as you'd wish for her to, which can add frustrations on top of your stresses.

@tidyMap5719 Sounds like your daughter misses you and misses the way thing's were before everything changed. I don't think she means any harm. I think for her sanity, she should focus on her well being while sending you both her love. If she's never had to take care of anyone, then naturally yes she isn't going to understand. I'm 28 and I find it hard to make friends with those in my age group because they don't understand my life as a Caregiver for my mom but it's not for anyone to understand. It's tough. Your under alot of emotional stress right now which is highly understandable. Tell your daughter you'll always love her no matter what, stay strong for your partner during this delicate time. I send you much comfort and prayers🌻❤
You're really going through a lot right now. You feel like you are all alone with this and have no support. The caregiving that you are doing takes a lot of your time and energy. That is really overwhelming and exhausting. It's really difficult for you to go through this not only because of the physical demand, but also because of the emotional toll that it takes on you. Not only is it difficult for you to do all these things but it is difficult for you to see her health deteriorate very fast. That is very depressing. Your daughter also is going through a difficult time right now and wants your support. You feel that it's not always possible to be available for her whenever she wants because you are busy with other duties. You feel as a lot of demand is put on you and your daughter doesn't understand that or empathize with you. You also feel frustrated because you struggle physically with this too.
