I recently ran into an acquaintance of mine who still associates with an ex-frenemy of mine who is extremely arrogant and competitive. Ever since she's gotten married, this person seems to puts on a front like she is living happily ever after with her husband. For example, she was a lousy when she was single but after she got married, she suddenly started bragging about cooking all these recipes with her husband.
This acquaintance wants to find a girlfriend and from what he has told me, she often brags to him that she's happily married. 😂 I honestly don't know why I was so upset when she dumped me because she's quite annoying.
@Summershy Running into old people that we have moved on from in life can be tough because all the old stuff comes back up and this can be followed by feelings that we may have forgotten about. Honestly, I would try not to care about them because you are better off without them and you've moved on for a reason. You don't need them in your life and they shouldn't take up any space in your mind or disturb your peace! 💕
I haven’t officially had a physical conversation with her in-person in years other than exchanging a few letters. I have seen her a few times in passing. I pretty much stay away from her because as you said, she is not worth my time.
However, I ran into her friend last week who sometimes hangs out with my other friends. She likes to make things sound better than they actually are.
@Summershy I understand that. People like to only show the good parts of life. It's kinda like social media, where everything is edited and people only show the good moments. Try to remember that you never know what goes on behind closed doors! ❤️

Oh absolutely, her marriage is definitely not perfect and she definitely cannot cook to save her life. I have eating her food during holidays and most of it came from cans and jars. She is also not happily married because the last picture I saw with her and her husband in a group photo. They were standing far away from each other. I also saw them together in passing and I noticed him seeming to boss her around. So, they are not getting along.
