friendship & sacrifice

I needed this perspective.

I have a close friend, and to some degree we need each other. However, I've changed a lot (in good ways) and it kind of scares them. They seem to have trouble letting go of my past self.

I have been tempted to confront them on things, but they have a lot on their plate. It's not what they need right now. And so I have patience! I carry pain, but I deal with it on my own. It is worth the sacrifice.
