Friend issues

I'm a 16 year old homeschoolie. And a newbie to this app. So...

I've never had a group of friends, but only one best friend. I had one friend from kindergarten to the 4th grade. Next from the start 5th and the end of 5th. Then one last year and one recently.

My point is, evey friendship I've had, male or female, they always end with them being mad at me. But I don't know why. Is it me? We have disagreements then we don't talk. I've tried to resolve them but nothing works. I was able to reconcile with one friend but... it's not the same that it was.

Any thoughts..?

There are many details missing  between being friends and ending with one side or  the other being mad.  Perhaps you should reach out to someone who can be honest with you about why if it is a situation where you are being misunderstood or something is a reoccurring issue.

Sometimes we need to not be defensive but really honestly review what we do in our interactions.

unfortunately a lot of the people you meet end up being sucky, if they are getting mad at you it’s probably a good sign that they are not the right kind of people for you. I was homeschooled my entire life so i understand the loneliness and how difficult it os to find friends being so isolated. the friends i found in high school sucked and i regret putting myself through those friendships, i feel that its best to quit while your ahead with some “friends” but that doesnt mean its you.

downloading this app is a good start! i’ve met great people through work, if you work in a field you’re passionate about then you’ll find great people with similar interests. if you go with an entry level job then you’ll probably find some people that you’ll have similarities with as well. Community college/university with online or in person can help a little too you just have to try hard in those situations but expect a lot of ups and downs until you find the right and best people
