I got excluded

I was really upset about what happened with the project teams at the beginning of the semester. It happened about four times where I ended up being the last person in the class without a team. Every time people knew it bothered me, but it still kept happening. I would try to form a team, then suddenly someone would talk to someone else and take them, and I would be left alone again.

During the first three weeks of the semester I was honestly breaking down and even thinking about postponing the term because of how stressful it felt. It made me feel completely excluded from everyone.

What made it worse is that later I received screenshots of chats where people were saying bad things about me behind my back, which made the whole situation even more hurtful.

Eventually the professors forced the team situation, so I ended up being put in a team with them. I’m basically stuck working with them now because I have to finish the project, but honestly I can’t stand them anymore and I don’t feel comfortable talking to them again. I’ll just do my part of the work because I have to, but that’s it.
