Isolation and how i escaped feeling lonely

I don't ever talk about it, but after high school, I fell into an isolation period that lasted about 3 years. I did classes online for college and then I dropped out because eventually it just became way too much and then I hit this point where I was basically realizing that I was worsening my depression.

During that isolation period I realized a lot about people and a lot about myself. The one key thing that I realized was people who i thought were my friends weren't and my only real friends checked in with me and we went out and did stuff like shopping or gettjng fast food or simply just hanging out

For a short period of time I found myself struggling to connect with people and it wasn't because i isoltaedd but because I didn't know how to speak to people or communicate,

i saw the way that people would treat other people on how people would just act towards people that actually are true friends. I would watch my friends, bad mouth, people that were really good people to them.

I would watch my co-workers badly talk about someone just because they were having a really bad day. It took me a while to realize that you can't control how people speak about other people or how they go about things, but it did help me realize that.

No one understand people anyone i find it that most people that I have met in my life really lack empathy and don't understand the complications of everyone else's life and I get that it can be hard to navigate everyone else's emotions when you yourself are struggling and don't know how to help yourself, but one thing that I know for certain and that I would never do is ever treat anybody like as if they aren't any important or bad mouth, anyone you don't know what people go through in their day to day life. You don't know what battle they're fighting just to get out of bed and be there. I was trying. Keep my thoughts and feelings to myself. When it comes to how other people treat people. But I always like to speak up and say I don't think you should say that when it comes down to situations where it's needed.

This also led me to never attempting to connect with anyone ever againThis also led me to never attempting to connect with anyone ever again. Just because most people don't understand it doesn't Mean you arent ever going to be seen

Add this really big fear of being misunderstood. When , in reality , I was just misinterpreted by a lot of people in my life , a lot of people would say that I Was too closed off or that I was too understanding to everyone but the way that I always viewed life is there's 2 sides to every story.

I'm not saying that I was fake to anybody because never not that I would hate for anyone to be fake to me butI'm not saying that I was fake to anybody because never not that I would hate for anyone to be fake to me but When someone says that somebody is this and then I meet that other person and that person isn't anything like that and I hear their story and everything else, I kind of gain a perspective of everything that's going on and everything that could lead to that. And it kind of circles back to what I was saying before, every day is a struggle for people in their day to day life, you never know what someone is going through you never know what someone is hiding, you never know what people are thinking on their day today. And that alone is pretty scary

I've never been the type of person to ever treat somebody differently. I've been friends with all different types of people. I'm not the type of person to not talk to somebody or ever not communicate or engage in conversation. If anything I'm the most social person you'll ever meet. I love talking to people, but being away from people help me realize that a lot of these people don't know how to be respectful and polite

I always see these people that I knew in high school, or that used to be friends of friends and everyone has different versions and memories of different people. I remember I would have people that I would run into talk about a version of me that they met in high school. And then another person would talk about that version of me and say, the opposite of what other people would say, and I wouldn't take it personally, it was all bittersweet memories, I love running into people. And I love talking about it, but at the same time, I always understood this idea of perspective that most people didn't have, I'm probably one of the most over analyzers in anyone's life. I notice. I think and I pay attention to everything.Whether or not people know that or wanna say that about me , I do , it's very noticeable who in my life actually cares about me and who in my life doesn't

I don't fault people to that either. I try not to but it gets really lonely. Sometimes having to deal with the same pattern, I can't be in a situation where I'm not talking to people, I can't be in a situation where I'm not trying to make friends and I can't be in a situation where I'm stuck doing the same thing with the same person every single day to me that's boring. I like the idea of being able to hear about people's day, I like the idea of big friend groups, I like the idea of going out no matter how terrifying it is the reasoning, why me and my friends get along so well, is because of the factor that we are all the same. We might not like the same things and be a part of the same Scene or anything like that , but what makes us an amazing friend group is the fact that we're able to connect on a deeper level

That connection has really shown me a lot of things in life. It's given me perspectives, it's given me goals and ideas. It's giving me motivation to try and get to know every single person in my life possible. I'm always very quick to make friends and be as open as I can be with people I love the idea of being able to meet new people and bring them into my world and see what their world is. Like without any change or anything, I love hearing people stories, I love making friends.

I think about my summer school group that I just had recently. This is currently our last week.A summer school and the one thing that I can say is I met these people in such a short amount of time, but my group that I was doing the most group work with.We became friends fast

The one reasoning, why we became friends so fast is because we all have different ideas and visions and goals. But the same perspective where we're able to connect on a deeper level, it went from originally talking about school work to us, talking about our goals, our dreams, our visions, and then we started talking about our own specific needs and wants in life, how we saw the world to be how we saw people to be. And it made us realize that even though we all look like we would never be friends, we actually all are. And we connected on that deeper level connection. Is the best thing to happen for humans

No Matter how scary it can be to step out and make new friends and meet new people. Not everyone in the world is bad.And not everyone out there is going to be a bad person proof of this is is this app.

Being able to form those deeper connections and being able to communicate every little bit in hidden detail, without worry or fear of judgment, don't be too hard on yourself, feeling lost is incredibly important because of the journey that you make to feel seen everybody wants to feel seen and everybody wants to feel important. You are seen. And you are important even if you don't feel like it. And some days are harder than most you are important. No matter how much friends you have , no matter how you Being able to form those deeper connections and being able to communicate every little bit in hidden detail, without worry or fear of judgment, don't be too hard on yourself, feeling lost is incredibly important because of the journey that you make to feel seen everybody wants to feel seen and everybody wants to feel important. I've always tried to put things into perspective on the number one golden rule. You treat people how you want to be treated, and I never understood where people would lose their sympathy, mainly more their empathy, too a lot of people don't know what it's like to manage with their emotions and that's okay, it's scary to come to these realizations that you're wired differently, there's nothing wrong with that. But navigating it in a world where people aren't as accepting or aren't as understanding is even scarier, it causes a lot of people to shut themselves out from the world being misunderstood as everyone's least favorite part of life.

I've always tried to keep a fair balance with everyone that I meet in life. I'm not the type of person who likes to gossip about other people. I'm also not the type of person who likes unnecessary drama, I've never really understood where people can talk negatively about somebody, not knowing what anyone is going through in their life, I always look at people and I don't see any of their problems that they would feel comfortable telling me about instead I remember people for how they treat me and how kind-hearted they are, even throughout the bad times I can say there is a lot of moments that outweigh that because of how good they are.

I believe people come into people's lives for a reason. We meet everybody for different things, lessons.Hardships , somebody just simply being there friends that turn into family family , that you didn't even know that you potentially needed in your life or just people that can offer youI believe people come into people's lives for a reason. I always used to like hearing things from everyone else's perspective.I kind of take meeting people like a group reading project depending on how people view each subject and topic. It's sharing everybody's insight , their ideas , their inner thoughts , how they feel about things , their summarizations of things that also gives you a brief demonstration of how everyone thinksI always used to like hearing things from everyone else's perspective. Thank you.i always try and look for the best of people in everything that they do. Not everybody is what people say they are. And it took me a while to kind of realize that, too I never really understood that as a kid, until I got a little bit older and started to realize everybody else has problems too, we all go about things differently. We all handle things differently, especially at early ages, where it's the hardest to navigate hard times who you are as a person and everything going on in your personal life, I feel like a lot of people neglect. That coming of age feeling

Throughout my time in middle school and high school, and even now I was young adult, I still see it where people are unsure of everything going on.In the world, everybody hides their insecurities differently, everybody hides their emotions better, but there are certain cases where it's also certain people just refuse to acknowledge those types of feelings too.And it always has me wondering Throughout my time in middle school and high school, and even now, as a young adult, I still see it where people are unsure of everything going on in the world, everybody hides their insecurities differently. Everybody hides their emotions better. But there are certain cases where it's also certain people just refuse to acknowledge those types of feelings too, and it always has me wondering, especially in a day and age like today where everything is so connected to social media, and we're able to seek more help. And we're able to meet people like us and common problems like insecurities, low self-esteem or Any sort of hardship are very common people talk about their mental health way more now which makes me the happiest, but it also brings me to this questioning. Why wasn't this taken seriously? Sooner, I feel as if if things were a lot better and easier in the world. And people were way more united and in tune with how they felt and were able to express and communicate everything and handle their personal traumas. In a sharing group, we'd all be 10 times happier in life. We'd all see things differently, the world would be lighter.

Apps, like 7 cups and Finch are heavy proof of it all, especially in today's world where social media is so widespread and information based people are consistently looking for ways to grow their platforms, one of my favorite bases that I love to do is diving in on YouTube videos where people talk about their own experiences with isolation, depression and hearing their stories out, it makes you also see things from their perspective. You kind of get a little deep dive on, everybody's insight. It helps bring me some type of insight and clarity that there are people that do think like me and it also raises me with better awareness that the future generation. Can look back on these and say, Hey, it's okay to not know how to navigate. It's also seeing people that have the same thoughts as you do.It's also being so normalized , where i'm happier to see people reaching out and helping others out
