Romanian expat return home
I am here 27F wanting to seek friendships or discuss with people in similar situation.
I spent nearly a decade abroad studying and working in IT and returned home back to my country. Apart from family and a church girl I don't know anyone.
I lost contact with my old school friends. Years ago in Summer my former best friend didn't seem happy to keep in touch (I was not a cool kid and she wanted to be cooler), and the people I knew are anyways spread all over the country or world with their own lives, some even have families now.
I am starting from scratch, I am working on something remotely since I came back in October last year and my God, is it lonely!
Dating has not been good either. I been chronically single, but I feel main thing I am missing is social activity.. if anything, sober socialising or even just virtual friendship. Anyone in similar predicament?
@CherishedDreamer 21 m here,i couldn't help but to respond to your post since i guess i can get you somewhat in not having any social activity and being alone. my situation is a bit different since i am a romanian living in italy and i had my separations when i was little,anyway if you are bored or you want to chat i am here.

I was intrigued by the “cool kid” things. How to be cooler than we already are. When your former best friend said it like that, means its over. But the one thing I am sure is people change. I’m not talking about others, but me myself. I feel like I have changed. To be a different person or actually to be the person I was before, thats something I couldnt find the reasons yet.
