Should i continue this friendship?
So here’s the situation. I have a friend. She gets upset pretty easily, sometimes over things that I personally think are quite small and trivial. Because of that, I always feel like I have to try really hard to be “perfect” just to keep her happy and avoid making her mad — mainly because she’s the friend I’m closest to at school. That’s the first issue.
The second thing is… recently, I’ve been hanging out in a group of three: me, her, and another person (let’s call them A). Lately, A has been losing patience with her and feels like she’s been growing more distant from us. So their relationship hasn’t been great. I still hang out with A though, and sometimes we even go out just the two of us. Because of that, I think my friend might be misunderstanding things and assuming that A and I are somehow betraying her, which is why she’s become colder toward me.
Now I don’t know what to do. Should I try to make things right, or should I just cut ties?

I can't tell you what to do, this has to come from you.
But I wouldn't cut ties.
Friends are rare and few 💚
But you cannot put yourself under pressure to be perfect either.
Be you.
It sometimes just requires working harder on communicating 🥰

Want to be a good friend then you could talk with her. If you distance yourself, she will just go thru friends again and again. Is there a reason she is been this way?
It is obvious by the reaction of A, your friend may need to find ways to not get upset or and so easily. pretending to be perfect and careful to not set her off is not a friendship.
That sounds incredibly draining. Feeling like you have to be 'perfect' and walk on eggshells just to keep a friend happy is a really heavy burden to carry. It makes total sense that you are questioning if it's worth it.
