Thoughts
I am a 17 year old girl from WA, USA. I struggle keeping friends, and I understand I can be hard to get along with. There aren't many kids my age that fit into the mold I'm still growing up in; farming, homeschooling, animals, crafts, etc. I have only one good friend who lives 2½ hours away that I used to converse with daily, but she stopped instigating conversations and when I did, she'd reply hours later and with short answers. On average, I leave the house once or twice a week, and it's mostly to the store.
I've learned that I get angry after having fun and depressed and super lonely too.
Any thoughts?

Harry Potter books and movies. And the Greatest Showman is pretty good too. Hobbies: knitting, making jewelry, wood carving, writing, sewing occasionally, and coloring. How about you?

I am sorry to hear that, you totally resonate with me. I've been there and still ! I am homeschooled either. i rarely head out, no friends in real life though.
I know the depth of loneliness, i completely understand how much it's weighing you. *hugs*
but you know what? It's been a year since I joined here in cups, I've made bunch of friends here. they are available almost everytime when needed. We converse stupid and chaotic things, even laugh for nothing 😂.
i wanted to share you this because I wanna let you know that you aren't alone here and it is not hard to make friends here either. we are there for you, geniunely care for you.
You can relate with tons of people's here, make connections, make genuine and caring friends. It's possible for me then it's definitely the same for you <3
You can see my thread throughout the forum's, I am quite active here. i would love to be your friend 😊. (Be aware of eating food's besides me, i am a cat... I had built up the habit of stealing foods 👀)

Hi! I'm 17 too and I am also online/homeschooled. I completely related to your post—I'm stuck at home a lot caring for my family, and it gets so incredibly lonely and suffocating. It makes total sense why you feel lonely, especially with your close friend pulling back a bit. Please be gentle with yourself, your interests are super unique and valuable! Hanging out online with groups centered around farming or crafts might help you find people who share your world.
