All kidding aside, you & I have something in common. As a cyclist, sand is my enemy too. Mud isn't an out-&-out enemy to me but, at times, it can be sneaky as h*ll.
My other enemies include potholes (they are f***ing merciless), road grime,* waste oil, rain, aggressive dogs, &--most of all--cars & trucks, along with the self-centered a**holes who drive them.
*Unless you become a road cyclist or an auto mechanic, you will not truly know that the road is a dirty place. This must be experienced to be understood.

Admittedly, as an American I don't have much call to joke. Look at who's been running our country (in theory) for the last few years...the only one with any demonstrable intellect was Barack Obama, & his foreign policy decisions still sucked. After Obama came the Great Orange Troll; after him came Sleepy Joe...who wants to run for a 2nd term. At this point, I'm wondering if Britain shouldn't move in & take us over as a colony again...

I'm sitting in a Ruby Tuesday's right now. Because I got to this area for a medical appointment I didn't really need (though it wasn't completely useless), & need to wait somewhere until rush-hour traffic passes. There is a wheeled mobility aid parked next to one of the tables. The youngest people in here are the staff.

Since they can't stand up for themselves, how do people in wheelchairs advocate for their interests? Is it by rolling forward with determination?...or maybe by sitting by their statements. Or perhaps they hold onto the armrests of conviction. 🤓
