Its really deep and emotional and inspiring. There’s so many amazing books on the subject <3
@jesusredeemedme2425 Since I like WW2 I have a really good collection of books on the holocaust, its a 1946 series of dictionaries on the war and it is beyond detailed.
You should read the one I just finished. It’s called Resistance. It’s a YA novel about resistance fighters during the Holocaust, and it’s sooooo good… Not your typical Holocaust novel. <3

History. Mainly military & religious...those two fields go a long way in explaining why today's world is the way it is. For my tastes I often prefer the Near ("Middle") & Far East to Europe, Europe (or anywhere) to the USA, & earlier centuries & eras over later ones. One thing I've discovered: the more acquainted you become with history in general, the less you're surprised by what people do
Investment & finance. Everyone should learn about those subjects! That is especially true of younger working people--whose awareness of finance too often don't amount to a hill of beans. Get into the basics at least. Working for your money is only half of it. Once you've earned 💵 & paid your bills, if you have anything left (& you should) then you must know how to put your money to work for you. That's what investing is all about. I'm definitely into it.
I also study politics & government to an extent...not like I used to. It's hard to find good writers on political subjects these days...most of 'em are partisan AF, even the supposedly brighter ones. Independent thinkers are rare. When I find one, I'll read anything (s)he has written at least once.

Yeh historical military fiction- great books
@genericbeing Shakespeare, theatre but mostly EQ such as autobiographies of foster carers or real life stories on child , brene brown books, anything emotional awareness, insight and penetration for bigger undersanding and (self) compassion related. :)
