Dance of the Quills
This is a fun game/challenge for anyone who can write (which if you use 7cups you can write.) you have 5 options. . .
1. Chain poetry; with this option you write a line or stanza, then people will reply the next or stanza. (You can specify a preferred theme for your chain, but don't be upset if it doesn't seem to follow it exactly as every has their own artistic interpretation)
2. Duet poetry; tag a friend or make your own form (pen pals or poetry.) Decide a topic and write a call and response from different perspectives on the topic. It will create a unique and vocal dance of words, thoughts, emotions, and ideas. (While traditionally meant to be read aloud by two people it can be made how you want.)
3. Exquisite Corpse; write a stanza or line the next person will write the next based on only your last line or word. (If you make this in a separate post with a friend you could only put your last line, and add the rest after you finish.)
4. Co-authored; pick a friend and make a pen pals (or use your existing one) and spend time to make one poem with one voice, yet two writers. Then post it here or in the poetry form and give us a link. ;) (Don't be scared to take your time or speak your opinions, it's a collaboration so you have equal say)
5. Theme competition; grab a friend(s) (or enemy, lol) and pick a theme, then each write a separate poem about that topic, and enjoy your differences, separate styles, and views. Once again post here or give links. ;) (Fun fact the famous poem "Ozymandias" was created by this process, and most of the other options have a some famous poems that use that method.)
You can mix and match from these, they aren't hard and fast rules. Just have fun and be kind and respectful.
If you make a separate post you can post a link to it here (unless it's a pen pal, you keep that for y'all.) you can also use here for finding a friend(s) to join and for logistics if wanted.
Tagging some friends who might enjoy it (feel free to invite more this is open to all!)

🎵🎶 On the thirteenth day of Christmas, my true love gave to m--
*Screech, music track stops playing*
"Stop! Wait, hold it. Hold it! Do you know how many days of Christmas there are? Hmmm, it's always been twelve, why would you add a 13th?"
But Bob, it's a song you gotta understand, and why can't there be a extra day of Christmas hmmmm???
"WHAT?! NO. think of the children you'll be telling them all there's more days then there actually is. You'll get angry letters saying, 'what happened to my 13th day' and 'where is my 13th day'. Are you prepared to deal with that. I DON'T THINK SO."

I think I'll choose chain poetry with the theme of snow.
The first snowfall feels like laughter from the sky, bright and soft all at once.
@IzzyGamer
All the children shout with glee as their gloved hands prepare for battle 😁💖
@Amanda84 snowballs start to fly through the air, oops! I put a rock in one and I just heard a bone crunch,
@7Bear7 join in everyone 🎅 to the tune of jingle bells😁😁
Dashing through the snow, on a pair of broken skiis,
Over the fields we go'ooo crashing into trees
@Tinywhisper11
Bells and baubles glitter, making spirits bright, oh what fun it is to ride this wondersome sleigh all night ❄️💃
