There's no right answer here, imo. As an adult who is responsible for bills, children, maintaining a household, etc... we look back and think of the joys of childhood. The no real sense of responsibilities, to be carefree, etc.
But when we are young, we are still growing, and learning about the world. We are lost and trying to make sense of things. Internally, we have a lot within us. We don't know how to cope or deal and we go through all kinds of things. Parents may love us and care but they don't always know how to handle us. We don't know how to manage our emotions and feelings, etc. It's tough.
Life can be challenging for us all-- no matter if we are kids or adults. But the same way life has it share of problems, there's definitely its share of beauty. ❤️ It's just about making the most with the life we have been blessed with and realizing that things won't always be this way.

It is all about perspective...
A child believes their life is hard.
An adult believes their life is hard.
Both are equally hard for their own reasons.
