Let's have a little fun.

I'll give you a scenario, you pick one and give a reason why and then leave a scenario for the next person she so on 💚🤗

If you are having conflict with a friend, do you speak up or do you hold it in?

a cabin in the woods, away from everyone.

Next scenario:

You wake up one morning with the ability to instantly master any one skill. Which skill do you choose, and why

@QuietByNature

The skill I would want to master is singing in public.

Next question, you see someone getting physically hurt, do you step in or walk by and get help?

@Amanda84

I'd feel compelled to if the someone was in obvious distress and I felt I could help.

Next Scenario:

If you had a health issue and felt that you weren't being sufficiently advised by your primary care provider would you join online groups for advice and guidance.

@RunningMachine

I would advocate for myself directly to the health care provider 🤗

In the 18 montha between my PE's I had a number of issues with a GP, he kept saying that the chest pains is only to be expected as the clots are reabsorbed and fresh scar tissue is exposed. He also didn't trust fitness trackers etc or Google.... I didn't spend years and a small foetunew studying to be a GP.

On the day of my 2nd clot, I went to the doctor's and could believe my luck when. I got the same GP. He examined me, had me pacing up and down a corridor checking heart rate and oxygen. Oxygen SPO2 wa slow at 92% but heart rate was elevated. He eventually made a point of stating he was refering me to the hospital for high heart rate and that there was no o sign of a PE. I had a CT scan about on admission that showed my lungs and artery were estimated to be 96-97% full of clots. He was an arrogant chap.

Two weeks later on a post hospital check up he was more than a little sheepish but eis apologise and said he would understand if I registered a complaint, I didn't see the point. Made me smile when he said the bright shiny new Garmin watch on his wrist was a present from his sister, he only uses it for running and he still doesn't trust them !!

I was nearly discharged from the hospital too until the consultant saw the extent of the clots on the scan. Having am athletes heart was obscuring the normal distress levels, so the go wasn't alone. Lesson learnt though, GP'a are just that general practitionera, they are not fallible and certainly not experts on Thrombosis.

You make important points here and I'm glad you got the answers you needed, it's vitally important when we don't feel heard that we continue to advocate for ourselves 💚🤗

excellent question. always speak up! it may feel horrible at the time and even terrifying, but the more you communicate, the more you're actually serving your future. the confrontations will decrease and will be so much less severe the more deeply you develop an understanding of one another and each others' needs.

when you stay silent, you aren’t actually keeping the peace; you’re just storing up resentment that will eventually leak out in passive-aggressive ways or explode during a minor disagreement later. by speaking up, you give your friend the chance to show up for you. it sucks at first, but the best relationships are those that have been strengthened through tough times and survived the uncomfortable truths.

I absolutely love that response.

Yes, and years later you are not tormented by regrets of what you didn't say 🤗💚

Uhm, I've read this somewhere..😅 so, i might follow it 😁

I would stay calm = i don’t react emotionally that’s what they want 😕🤔

I set a boundary....!!! clear n direct: That’s not acceptable. 😤

Escalate if it needed = Go to HR or a higher manager with proof. 🤧😣

Upgrade myself = Keep building skills never feel trapped. 😜

Mmm...... what else 🤔 idk what else to do xD 😄 ¯\_(☯෴☯)_/¯

Hugs 🤗❤️

You were disoriented for a long time. For years, you’ve pushed your responsibilities aside, even though deep down u genuinely want to get ur life together and see real progress in urself.
But certain reasons (whether mental or physical ) keep pulling you back, keeping you in bed all day.
So, how do you break that cycle?

You are gentle with yourself 🩷

You accept that it's not your fault.

And some things weren't fair, and out of your control.

And you deserve to heal.

Resilience isn't about pushing through or pretending or forcing yourself to do things.

Resilience is anchoring yourself in hope.

And seeing what you can control.

Some days it's hard and we won't get out of bed.

Other days, we get up, we might do the simplest task, but we deserve to praise ourselves for this and continue to progress, even in small ways 🩷

Effort and intention matters 🩷
