It’s Pi Day! :)
It’s 3/14, Pi Day! (Pi starts with 3.14…)
So let’s get creative here!
Use Google. Find a less typical, maybe lesser known, kind of pie, from anywhere in the world! They can be sweet pies like boysenberry, or umami like meat pies… Handheld like butter tarts, or full-size like chess pie. Share what they are, where they’re from, and show us pics! Let’s explore new kinds of pies together <3

@jesusredeemedme2425 Happy pi Day. I have never had pie but I imagine it tastes divine. I could maybe invent peanut butter pi as I usually have peanut butter with a lots of things
@jesusredeemedme2425 I wanna taste shepherd pie so hard. Your post somewhere in the food threads inspired me. I believe it was American food
You’ve never had shepherd’s pie????
@jesusredeemedme2425 nope. Never even heard of it before your post
@sadcat13
you should make it!! super easy. If I can do it, you can too!
You must give recipe lol
@jesusredeemedme2425
i brown ground beef in the frying pan (a pound typically)
make some mashed potatoes
I use corn—but I know people use green beans, peas and carrots—or a mix of all of them
I put my cooked ground beef in a baking dish, spread it out evenly, then layer with choice of vegetable. Being I use corn, I’ll do a can of regular corn & a can of creamed corn so it’s not dry, then spread the mashed potatoes across the top.
Couple pats of butter on the potatoes to make them crispy and brown. Flavor the top with paprika, salt & pepper.
Cook in the oven at 350 degrees for about 30-45 mins. You want it warm throughout and voila!!!
@peachThinker662 i should really try it
@sadcat13
tell us all about it when you do ❤️❤️❤️
@peachThinker662 i will 😊
