Nostalgia
If you can get any object from your childhood back what would it be and why??

@Optimisticempath i'm not sure if this is exactly an object, but i'd love my childhood room back. i mean the room i had from ages 4-11, in case i still count as a child.
i loved it it was beautiful, with a soft bed, a huge window i loved, lovely curtains, an decent bathroom, nice lighting and everything. it is unfortuantely all gone, but if i could get that back, i might really like it because i felt truly comfy in that room. when we moved, i didn't realise it at first, but now i realise that i miss my nice old room.
what about you though? what would you like to have back? 🤍
@exuberantBlackberry9105 aw it’s okay we make it count in object too 🥺 because it’s so wholesome and can feel the missing for an older comfy space 💕 it’s ok to miss your old room and the nice comfort it brought you 🤗 I wish you could have it again too 🥺
not an object either I guess but it’ll be great if I could have my old self back … the one who was fine even when things weren’t fine but because there wasn’t much self awareness xD part issue is the self awareness lol like times were good when I didn’t know certain words like depression even existed 🥲 can’t deal with something we don’t know the name for … right?!! XD
an object object would be an old mug I used to have 🥹 it was the cutest ever but sadly it was broken 😅
@Optimisticempath aww, that's such a sweet message, thank you! 💕
i get that, i too wish i could have my old self back. love how you said "the one who was fine even when things weren’t fine", that's super relatable. that was my 10 year old self being fine and enjoying life even with everything going on. i wish we could both get out old selves back, that would be nice.
oh no, i'm so sorry the old mug got broken, it sounds like it was a lovely object though. ❤️
@Optimisticempath A camera... well, actually, not the camera itself but the film rolls.
I once lost a lot of my photos from a particular summer that I currently have no memories about because the movers who handled some of our old things didn’t realize the importance of a little box filled with undeveloped film. They were never processed — so a lot of my childhood memories just… vanished. It still stings sometimes.
A tiny stuffed doggy i used to have <3
