@jesusredeemedme2425 I believe it's a tamarind candy. I've tried some before—they're a specialty in Mexico (They call it Tamarindo) and you can find both sour and spicy varieties. They're really delicious!
What’s tamarind?
@jesusredeemedme2425 Tamarind is a type of fruit that comes from the tamarind tree which is native to Africa but is now grown in many other regions around the world. It is shaped like a curved pod and inside it has a soft, sticky pulp that’s both sweet and sour. And this pulp which is brownish in color.... is used in cooking for its tangy flavor, especially in sauces, curries etc It's also used in sweets... You can eat tamarind on its own or use it to make pastes, juices and even candies. It's also found in Worcestershire sauce. (I cant find any Tamarind gifs so..google for images)
