Here's how to play Ninja!
Note: My friends and I never use our legs. We just try to karate chop each other's arms/hands. If you tag out both arms, you're out. Hehe
Here’s how to play:
- All the players stand with their hands together, facing the center of the circle.
- Everyone says, “3, 2, 1, NINJA!” and then freezes in a cool ninja pose. (This is the favorite part!)
- Each player takes a turn doing a ninja move. Turns move around the circle, just like any other game.
- The object of the game is to get the other players “out,” one limb at a time.
- When it’s your turn, you get one move. You can karate chop another player’s arm below the elbow, or kick their ankle or foot. You can try to get any player out – it does not need to be the person next to you. You can take a step as part of your move, but only one step. For example, you can step forward or backwards and do a karate chop with your arm. The player being attacked can dodge your ninja move. If you successfully karate chop their arm below the elbow or their foot/ankle, then that limb is out!
- A player is out of the game when both of their arms and both of their legs are out.
- The winner is the last ninja standing!
Here's how to play Spoons!
My friends and I don't do the "spelling SPOONS" thing.
This game gets so violent XD When everyone dives for a spoon... people get tackled, people get clawed, and one of my friends ended up jumping over a table in pursuit of a spoon! lol
And don't get me started on Cross-Country Spoons! It's when you put Spoons in different areas of the room. I almost got injured with this one XD
- Arrange spoons in a circle in the center of the table.
- Deal four cards to each player.
- The dealer takes a card from the top of the deck and discards one to the player on their left.
- Players take turns discarding to the person on their left.
- The first player to collect four of a kind gets a spoon, then everyone follows.
- If someone collects four of a kind, everyone tries to grab a spoon.
- If a player doesn't have a spoon, they get a letter.
- If a player spells "S-P-O-O-N", they're out.
- There's always one less spoon than there are people.
- Hide-and-Seek
Pick one person to be “it” and have them start counting while everyone else hides. The counting spot can also be designated as base where players can run to be safe anytime during play. The last person found will be it for the next round. - Sardines
Think hide-and-seek, but reversed. The larger group hides their eyes, counting and then searching for one player. Once found, the group joins the hidden in their hiding spot and they lie close together like sardines. - Red Light, Green Light
Designate one person to be the light while everyone else lines up at the opposite end of the field. The light will begin the game by yelling, “Green light!” and turning their back to the others. Everyone else is to run/walk towards the light before it “turns red“.
When the light yells, “Red light,” and turns around, everyone must freeze in place. Anyone caught still moving will have to go back to the starting line to begin again. The first person to make it to the light will become the traffic light for the next round. - Duck, Duck, Goose
This classic game couldn’t be more simple. Everyone sits in a circle with one person designated as “it.” That player then walks around the circle gently touching each player on the head as they pass calling out, “duck.”
But, if “it” touches a player’s head and calls out. “goose,” that person must get up and chase the player around the circle. If tagged before getting back to the empty seat in the circle, the goose then becomes it. Otherwise, the game resumes until another player successfully tags “it.” - Simon Says
This games requires good listening skills. One person is “Simon” and gets to give the others tasks to do. They simply say, “Simon says… touch your nose (for example).” If a player does something without Simon saying it, they are out. The last person standing becomes the next Simon. - Red Rover
This games requires a number of players, divided into two teams. Once teams are designated, they stand parallel from each other with at least 10 yards between them. The teams hold hands in their line and take turns yelling out, “Red Rover, Red Rover, let (name of person on opposite team) come over.”
The person whose name is called then runs toward the other line in an attempt to break through the line. If successful, they grab a player and take them back to join their team.. If unsuccessful, they join the new team. Play continues until one team has only one person and they are not able to break through.

Posting for @rjm123 because his account won’t let him post pics et al. lol

Here's how I cook my rice 😂
What you'll need:
- Tap water
- 1 cup rice
- 1 cup filtered or distilled water for cooking (the amount of water depends on what type of rice you'll be cooking but usually it's 1:1 ratio for polished rice, and 1 part rice to 1¼ parts water for brown or red rice. I use measuring cups cause I don't trust my stubby fingers)
- ½ teaspoon vinegar (for me this makes the rice sweeter and prevents spoilage if you have leftovers)
How to cook on rice cooker:
- Remove your rice cooker pot from the cooker.
- Put your uncooked rice in the pot and wash it on tap water. Make sure that your rubbing the grain with your hands.
- Wash it three times, until the water runs clear. (You can use the rice water as plant fertilizer hehe)
- After washing your rice, add the filtered or distilled water together with the vinegar.
- Mix it all, and level the rice with your liquid to cook it evenly.
- Place it in your electric rice cooker. Let you rice soak for 5 minutes, then you can turn on the cook switch or button.
- Wait 3 minutes after your rice cooker switches to keep warm, then you can fluff your piping hot rice with a ladle.
- You can now enjoy your 2 cups of piping hot rice.
How to cook rice on stovetop using a clay pot or whatever pot you have (as long as it's not too big haha):
- Same ingredients, and washing process with the rice cooker.
- You also need to let you rice soak for 5 minutes, then you can turn on the stove to high.
- Let it simmer for 2 minutes or until your lid is almost starting to overflow then turn it off for about a minute.
- After 1 minute, turn the heat on low.
- Wait for about 10-15 minutes and check if your rice is cooked through. You can do this by spooning out a small portion and eating it (make sure to let it cool down a bit before trying it. It will def. burn your tongue if you don't blow it haha). It there's no opaque white at the middle of the rice it fully cooked but in case that there is just cover it with the lid and let it cook for 3-5 minutes.
- Your done! Enjoy it with your fave dish.
🍚🍛🥳
P.S. this recipe is for 1 cup of uncooked rice only. You can make 2 cups of cooked rice from this.
