What Made You Smile Today?

Some middle school kid waved at me said hi and asked me were I was going while I was walking by his school, and even though he was probably doing the usual I'm outgoing enough to talk to a stranger thing, and he was doing some sort of run thing with his PE class and it was really hot out and he was breathing kind of hard but, he still acknowledged me and it just felt really good to be acknowledged by someone who didn't even know me. even though he probably won't remember it or think that he made me happy from some gesture of him probably trying to be strange.
