What Made You Smile Today?

Having cream soda for the first time in months and trying to get one of my many, many chickens off of my head (my family owns a free-range chicken farm, there's well over fifty birds. My favorite one is a golden comet which I have dubbed 'Dawnie').
This post sounds cute the way it's written but in reality if there were a bunch of chickens trying to climb on my head I would be terrified.
Playing with my cat always makes me smile. He's just so full of energy and hilarity :)
Many things make me smile. Today, hugging my stuffed animal made me happy, talking on the phone with my Grandma who has Alzheimer's, having the motivation to write in my journal, and watching TV with my Mom has made me smile. I'm thankful for the little things.

Tailgating football in the rain with my friends, boyfriend and dog. Sometimes it's the little things in life that make us the happiest.
Soaking in the bath while reading my favorite book. It was the only peace I felt in a while.

I never use this. But today I'm so freaking happy now. It's been a horrible day, I go check Instagram and Lloyd from Get Scared responded to one of my comments. I'm flipping out this just made my week.
