All questions seem rather tame to be a Grinch.... but i am the Grinch completely.
Never cared for this time of year ... I have often faked i liked things given to me with ZERO thought about me/ hate carolers / faked illness to avoid holiday gatherings. I dislike wrapping gifts seems like a waste since it only lasts moments then you have a big stack of garbage. Decorations.... I feel was always a waste since I have lived with people whom literally moved items I put up ...... for no apparent reason ...i could understand if it was for balance or a theme but nope they just have some control issue so great they can do it ALL.... on their own.
Holidays is a chore for me and each year I want to just NOT deal with it anymore.
This year is the worst. my partner is so messed up in their priorities. Example they wanted to send a gift basket to a family member. I KNOW the person is very picky and would NOT eat half of what was in basket so i told partner "they do not like most of that" i meant to find something else ....his solution buy a bigger one with more junk they most likely will not enjoy. either ...so family can chose to throw stuff away or pass on to someone else I guess.
So was told that I am the Grinch for not wanting to give people things they do NOT like or want ...so be it. I do not believe a gift for gift sake without considering the recipients ability to use or like it.
