Hi! Ai actually just wanna ask a question.. I am freshly done high schooler and waiting for my examination result. So we got like a few months to wait. Finally I can have my free time and do what I've been waiting for. Like watching my fav show, reading books and more. I had listed them but somehow they seem like a to do list. I list it incase I forget. Cz I always do. But they kinda pressure me.. I don't know why I feel this way.. They do relate to my trauma somehow.. But I still confuse why I was feeling like this meanwhile they just a hobby or thing I want to do in my free time. Maybe my ocd is not helping too.. Do you guys perhaps know how to overcome this?

Hey, well done for getting your exams done :) I wish you a good summer and hope you get the results you’re expecting and hoping for!

I have some experience with OCD and list making! One suggestion I have is to maybe make a brainstorm rather than a list, just for ideas and inspiration... I used to do that, usually with little drawings too, then could glance at it without it looking like a ‘to do list’ :)

I think it’s nice to wake up and meditate a bit (ie just sit without phone/radio/tv/conversation, I prefer to be outside, but somewhere comfy and quiet will do. Then I find things pop into my head that I want to do. And I like to do those things when I have free days, rather than forcing myself to do something I planned to do on another day. Especially if it’s stuff for fun/leisure etc.

Hope this helps. Enjoy your summer :)
