Unable to send direct messages

Anyone would like to be generous enough to explain me why the hell we are unable to send direct messages to listeners? I've been trying e-mailing 7cups but as always they never answer back.

I only joined here a few days ago and was trying to find a helpful listener , ive tried 4 all were picked for me and replied about once every 10 minutes and then stopped ,really unhelpful . I thought you would be able to choose someone yourself ?
Whats the use of having someone randomly popping up ?
