I have written a long poem about love kind of so I am gonna paste half of it.
Is it okay if I fall for you everytime we meet?
Leaving some space beside me; maybe someday you'll have a seat.
Is it okay if I see you like I see the moon?
Waiting from the sunrise just because I wish to see you soon
Is it okay if my poems speaks about you without mentioning your name?
Because in my heart you're the Hall of fame.

Oh my gosh !!! I went through this thread reading the your poems and those are soo good with deep insights....nah not getting enough words to appreciate them and youuu. Those are really wonderful. Last time I got here , I didn't have a word in my mind (because lots of words are out there and I was clueless which one was the best, duh) . But right there is one that stands out- afternoons. Those are one of my favourite times of the day. Not just because I get to munch on my lunch , but there is something about the bright sunshine and it's warmth that makes me feel safe and soothed. I get headaches too but it's worth it ☺️

As nature settles in for a while, unwound.
The air is still, yet it carries a hum, A distant sound of a far-off drum, Or the buzz of bees, busy and keen, As they dart and dance through the leaves of green.
In the distance, a bird sings its song, A melody that's been here all along, And yet it feels brand new each day, As if the notes were born just to play.
Afternoon, a time for rest and peace, When all of life seems to slow, release, And we can breathe in the world around, Absorb the sights and sounds we've found.
So let us take a moment to pause, To appreciate life's simple cause, And revel in this moment so grand, This peaceful afternoon, so still and grand.

Here you go
High up in the trees, a cozy little nest, A perfect little home, built with such finesse. Woven with twigs and grasses, leaves and hair, A snug little shelter, beyond compare.
It sways in the breeze, so gentle and mild, As the chirping birds keep watch, each like a child. A place of safety, a place of rest, A sanctuary from the world's unrest.
Here, eggs are laid and little ones are born, And nurtured with care, from night until dawn. The mother bird, with love in her breast, Keeps her babies warm, safe and blessed.
