🌷✨ A Question For You ✨🌷

Hey there, lovely souls — and a big, gentle welcome to all the members of 7 Cups! 💚

I’m Bubbles, one of the listeners here. I’ve been part of this beautiful community for quite a while now, and it’s honestly changed me in so many ways. Over time, I’ve had the privilege of connecting with amazing people and receiving 178 heartfelt reviews — not because of numbers, but because each one represents someone who felt heard. That’s what means the most to me. 🌙

My listening style is soft, patient, and understanding. I believe in giving people the space to breathe — to just be human for a moment, without expectations or pressure. Whether you need to let something out, talk through your thoughts, or simply have someone sit with you in silence, I’m here. 🌿

Mental health isn’t always easy to talk about. Some days it feels heavy; other days, you might not even have the words. But reaching out — even just once — is such a strong and courageous thing to do. 💫 It means you’re choosing yourself, even in the smallest way, and that’s beautiful.

If you’d like, here’s a gentle question to reflect on or share below 💭:
🌤️ Who or what helps you feel safe — that grounding sense of calm when everything feels a little too heavy?

7 Cups is full of people who care deeply — listeners, mentors, and members who remind each other that nobody has to go through this alone. This community is proof that kindness still exists in the world. 🌻

💌 My messages are always open. Whether you want to talk, reflect, or just say hi, you’re welcome anytime. I’m really glad you’re here — and I hope this space becomes a little piece of comfort for you, too. 💌

@DarkerPlaces

That’s really beautifully said 🌿 It sounds like you’ve found a few different kinds of safety — one that comes from being with your foster carers and feeling secure at home, and another, more emotional kind that you experience when you’re around animals. Both are so special in their own way 💛

Animals can bring such a deep sense of peace and acceptance — they don’t judge, they just are, and that quiet presence can make it easier to breathe. And having a safe home environment is such an important part of feeling grounded, too.

It’s completely okay that safety feels different in different spaces. What matters most is that you’ve found places and beings that help you feel calm and protected. You deserve that sense of peace — in every form it comes in. 🕊️

@Bubbles2025 I feel safe in the home I live in, I feel safe here at cups where all my friends and family live💖 and I feel safe when I sit under the willow tree by my son's cross and just talk to him and God, listening to the birds and just feeling a sense of calm and peace 💖

That’s so deeply beautiful and heartfelt 💖 The way you describe your sense of safety feels like pure warmth — being surrounded by love both in your home and here at Cups, where people care about you and where you can just be. 🌷

Sitting under the willow tree by your son’s cross sounds like such a sacred, peaceful space — a place where love, memory, and faith all intertwine. 🌿 The image of you talking to him and to God, with the birds singing around you, feels so serene… like the world gently holding you in that moment. 🕊️ It’s such a special way to connect and find calm amidst everything.

My faith.

The constancy of my family.

My ability to not take life too seriously.

I like to laugh, to have fun to be spontaneous 💜💕

That’s such a beautiful mix of strength and lightness 💫 Your faith sounds like a steady anchor — something that keeps you grounded no matter what waves come your way. And the constancy of your family… that kind of unwavering love and presence is such a gift. 💕

I love that you balance that depth with joy — your ability to laugh, have fun, and be spontaneous brings so much life into the picture. 🌼 It’s a reminder that even in serious times, there’s always room for light, laughter, and a little bit of play. You carry a really lovely blend of heart and spirit. 🌙

When at home alone, I like to spend time with one of my cats. He is my support and makes me laugh with some of his antics.

Grounding:

I have a couple of rocks I picked up while on vacation. Keep one at work on my desk and at home on my desk.

When I am finding myself going down a rabbit hole, I pick up the rock and close my eyes. Think back to where that rock came from, vacation away from work is my one true solace these days

That sounds so comforting and meaningful 💛 The way you describe spending time with your cat feels so tender — animals have this amazing way of sensing when we need calm or laughter, and it sounds like he’s both your little companion and emotional anchor. 🐾✨

I really love your grounding practice, too. There’s something so peaceful about holding those rocks and reconnecting to a time and place where you felt free and at ease. 🌿 The fact that you keep one at work and one at home shows how deeply you value that sense of balance — like you’ve created small reminders that peace is possible, even on the busiest days. 🌊 It’s such a gentle, mindful ritual, and it speaks volumes about how you care for yourself. 💫

My husbands gentle care and doing something like softly rubbing my back makes me feel safe.

Petting and cuddling my doggies helps me feel calm and grounded.

I also ground through the breath. I do some seated zazen meditation to practice and often used pursed breathing when I need to calm my nervous system.

That sounds so peaceful and full of love 💞 The way your husband gently cares for you — something as simple as a soft back rub — carries such a deep sense of safety and connection. It’s those small, quiet gestures that often mean the most, reminding you that you’re not alone and that you’re deeply cared for. 🌷

Your bond with your doggies sounds just as healing 🐾 — that warmth and unconditional love they give can ground you in the present moment in such a beautiful way.

And your grounding practices sound so mindful and intentional. 🌿 Using your breath, zazen meditation, and pursed breathing to soothe your nervous system shows such self-awareness and gentleness toward yourself. You’ve created this lovely balance between calm connection and inner stillness — a whole circle of safety and peace. 🌸
