Any technique or resources to practically show how to let go past memory or person or anything that keep haunting you .

I'm sorry to hear that past memories are haunting you.

Talking about them, in a private, non judgemental space can help.

What works for me is writing them down.

In all their rawness.

And then burning the paper, releasing the emotions.

Processing them.

To stop them running on a loop.

Hiding them leaves them hidden 💚

I'll second this, started writing myself a letter each day, physically writing is cathartic in itself but reading my writing is anything but, surprised at how poor it is has become 😉

@wittyMap7054 in my experience not running from what's haunting you and actually sitting in it when you are in safe space and reframe it into what you've learned from it. If the memory is too painful yet to sit in you could try some grounding techniques to pull you out of it like splashing cold water on your face or the 5-4-3-2-1 technique...5 things you see, 4 things you feel, 3 things you hear, 2 things you can smell and 1 thing can taste.

It's a terrible feeling to be haunted, hopefully you can find something that works for you.

Everyone has a different coping mechanism so it's necessary that what helped me would help you too, but I'll be happy to share ☺️

Keeping myself busy, occupied helped me. It didn't give me much time and space to think about things I wanted to forget. Getting rid of memories and belongings related to to the person. Finding yourself a friend, or someone who'd listen to you when you feel low, or writing things down somewhere or on a diary..

Attachment is something that takes a long time to go, specially if it had lasted for long. We're human beings after all, it's okay to feel that way. There'll be days when you hardly think about it, and other days it'll keep haunting you. That's part of the healing process, give yourself some time.. Everything will be alright 🫂💐

@wittyMap7054 Hey I have been through the same sis..I can understand how you feel,I will tell what techniques I used to let the past go or past person go.

Basically the most simplest technique I used was guided meditation ~

1)Guided Forgiveness meditation (If u want to let go of a person listen to this)

2)Find a good Self love meditation (If u feel unworthy, guilty or anything then practice this) Or Gratefulness meditation (the best meditation to help you let go of past also helps you to attract positive things into life)

And yesss these all are tried and tested by me 🤗🤗💕💕You can trust my advice cuz it also has personal touch to it
