Deep feeling of being broken
The first time I was irresistibly in love, realized I have a taste for people who treat me as trash. This took me to a lower deep, no hope for the future. This intense feeling of being broken, can't talk to people for the fear of attachment, often find people to connect but feel like I feed off their egos. So run, constant run. Waiting to grow. I wish I didn't feel like I was broken. I wish I were capable of having friends and relationships. I wish I didn't have this deep rooted faith that I am broken.
@seashell145 Hi! I hope you are well! I promise you that you are not broken. Did something happen, maybe trauma, that makes you feel as though you have to be around people that treat you not the best? This isn't your fault and you can always work through tough feelings! We are here for you at any time! :)

Trauma I suppose, many people treating me bad since childhood.
@seashell145 I'm so sorry to hear that. 😞 You do not deserve however people treated you. Have you tried talking to a therapist about this? Counseling can be really helpful and you deserve to get the help you need! 😊 Best of luck!

This is old stuff. I've been here for about 4 years.
@seashell145
4 years is quite a while! How have things been going since then? Any progress? ^^

Thank you for asking this question, this made me reflect on my situation. I don't feel any better, I keep losing people and resources. I have learned to meditate, to journal, practicing daily gratitude. Lost all my secure attachments, but have learned a lot about people around the world. I have developed good emotional intelligence, can understand people's experiences better now.
There were 3-4 good listeners here when I started but these days I don't receive any support on the listening section. I have met many listeners who made some damaging comments early in the days- still carrying the damages.
Just feeling really annoyed by fruityPonds comments. I'm sick of people trying to be all wise and better than me here instead of helping.
@seashell145 It's also never too late to get help! I've been seeing my psychiatrist for 7 years now and it's the best decision I ever made! We can always change our minds and do something good for ourselves! There's no time limit I promise!
@seashell145 I'm sorry if my comments weren't helpful and I didn't mean to offend you. I was just trying to provide support ❤️ I did not mean any harm and I am sorry to hear about your situation.
@fruityPond7887
No problem, thank you for the apology and your kind words. I could've been calmer in my response I suppose. Hope things get better for you too.
@seashell145 That's okay <3 We all go through it at some point or another 😊 Please let me know if there's anything I can do to help. ❤️
