@jesusredeemedme2425 Quantum physics.. it is the stuff from which protons and neutrons are made of. So, the nucleus of atoms are made up of quarks and gluons. These gluons glue quarks together to form the nucleus. So yeah basically, all the things we see are made of quarks and electrons.

They’re the reason quarks stick together inside protons and neutrons. So quarks are like tiny beads and you’re trying to hold them together with superglue. That superglue is the gluons and when you try to pull the quarks apart.. the gluons don’t loosen up. They pull even harder like an elastic band that resists the more you stretch it. This stretching force is called the strong force and gluons are the particles responsible for it. So they not just "glue" it, they create a force - the strong force and it is also one of the fundamental forces of nature.

@azurePond There's this stuff called liquid nails. You can use it for anything. Concrete, metal, tiles... you name it. It's permanent and water proof.

I honestly had no idea liquid nails even existed so thank you for telling me about it. * I googled it * Wait... you’re saying you can just glue tiles now? I always thought you had to slather on cement and carefully stick each slab down one by one. And pray to God that it stays. Now it can bond metal too? That’s wild — sounds like it could save a lot of unnecessary hassle.
Although… shouldn't we be more scared of liquid nails than super glue? They sound way more powerful — like the ultimate pro max level version of adhesives 😅

I haven’t had any first hand superglue disasters myself but once my brothers tried to prank each other and one of their fingers got stuck — I swooped in with nail polish remover and saved the day. I am a fast learner 😌so I learnt fast that do not mess with superglue. Tools and I have a mutual understanding- I don’t touch them and they don’t hurt me 😅 I don’t do nails, hammers, spanners… all that hardware stuff is not my zone. I happily leave those jobs to the experts. At most I can assist — I used to be the designated flashlight holder or the one handing over “the big spanner or the small one” (I’m totally tool-illiterate.. I am not proud of it, in fact I hide that weakness from people )

@azurePond Learning about fingernail polish was a real game changer for me 😂 But now I've got a healthy fear of super glue. I used to tell myself I'll just be extra careful 😅 It turns out I don't know how to do that 😂 I'm a slow learner
@mytwistedsoul Oh nail polish remover is absolutely a lifesaver — it removes polish, cleans up nails and erases every known stain to humankind… including, um, bl00d stains👀
Also I’m definitely not the poster child for carefulness either (only when tools are involved). And I refuse to blame it on being a slow learner — it’s just that no one warned me the rope was secretly looped under the hammer when I pulled it. How is that my fault?
Also thank you for appreciating my flashlight holding skill. Not enough people recognize the level of genius required to aim that beam just right. It's an under celebrated talent tbh.
I had a feeling you were into building stuff — I’ve seen you and SlowDecline drop hints now and then. But wow a barn... a greenhouse... a shed?! I thought people only did that in movies. And a sawmill?? That’s not bragging — that’s main character behavior. You didn’t just level up... you ascended. You're basically a one person cottagecore legend. Total respect.
In my family we do a little manual labour too but only in summer when we help out on the farm. No one builds anything serious. I have heard tales that my dad once made a bed and a table — they exist somewhere in the house. We have only heard of it nobody has seen it - It is like the barn ghost.
Also me and my siblings once accidentally destroyed an entire greenhouse... so yeah. Not exactly builders 😅 But my godmother is into woodwork — she carves statues and little things as a hobby. She’s the artistic one with the tools.
