I was in a small group therapy with 2 other girls for I think 4 years. We stopped over the summer.
Right before the summer, one had got engaged and got married.
I just got a text from the other, she’s now engaged to a guy she met while we’re all doing group.
I’m happy for her! Thrilled! She deserves it.
I understand I’ve been focused on a lot that’s been going on around me and my life but a part of me is like DAMN these 2 are getting married, engaged and I can’t even get a phone number !!!!
It hit the self pity, loneliness and comparing button. …. I want to have that. ❤️
