Facing the Truth

I'd like to share a thought and experience from earlier today that I think people can relate to in their own way.

You're walking outside on a concrete sidewalk as the mid-November breeze blows gently. The sun emerges from the clouds and hugs you. The warmth cradles you, and you feel protected and happy. But you don't dare face the sun because it'll burn... You feel peaceful for a moment, but you won't face the truth because it is far too bright to handle directly.
