Finally played piano again!

Just sharing a small win.

I finally played piano again for the first time in I don’t even remember how long! It was just for a few minutes, no warm up or anything, just trying to play the beginning of “The Contract” by Twenty One Pilots- but still!

I hadn’t let myself even touch my piano at all in so long, it was completely caked in dust, just like my guitar and ukulele honestly still are. I completely forgot how it felt to actually play it and why I loved it so much- even though I knew I was never “good” at it. I stopped because I just felt so undeserving of it. Undeserving of playing something when I wasn’t good enough at it, undeserving of doing really anything that made me feel good because I was a “terrible person that didn’t deserve to feel good at all.”

I’m just so happy right now. I know to a normal person this all probably wouldn’t matter at all, but it’s almost like I have my life back. That’s how it feels.
