Grateful for cups
Hey everyone. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who helped me on my journey on cups. It has been an interesting journey and i have learned a lot from everyone on here. I have been on and off on here for quite some time, and i think it's time to fully close this 7 cups chapter. Thank you so much 7 cups for being here for me when i needed it the most, thank you fro providing me the support and safe space i needed. I've stayed on here for as long as i needed and now it's y time to go and find a new safe space. Thank you everyone. I wish you all well.
Goodbye.
Hiya @schrodingerscattt, it is sad seeing anyone leave but when it's a conscious decision with much thought and with thankfulness in heart, it's a wise decision, I feel.
I find it really thoughtful of you to express your gratitude for our community with this message and hope you do continue to find a safe space within and around you, always.
Ooh and 7 cups is just around, so are many people here who do care for you and wish you well, feel free to peek around if and when you want/need to.
Sending good wishes to you. See you!🌸

Thank you it's really kind of you. I decided to stay here sfter all. It was not a good decision. I feel so dumb being on and off this app and I lost all the friends I made on here because of my stupid decision. I just feel so dumb.
@schrodingerscattt
Do you feel sometimes it gets a little too much and it's easier (not in the easy sense rather in a "seems like the only viable option to take" way) to resort to the "flight" option? In a way, to excuse yourself from the stressors/ stress-causing situation/ environment/ even people sometimes?
I think I can relate, if that's the case here. Like when brain goes "okay. enough. I'm so done. time to just be away.", sometimes it's because there's already a lot of conflicting thoughts and emotions, creating a whirlwind of things to feel and when such happens, I find it normal to feel overwhelmed and want to simply not engage for sometime.
How the saying goes too, "plug off from the world to plug in with yourself, from time to time" (or something similar, I, of course moulded it in my way lol), the world can get too much sometimes and it's natural for the inner-world to want to resort to some sort of safe space that's not too demanding.
It's not dumb really and you're allowed to change your decisions, a lot of people do that here, having some time off might be helpful in restoring some more balance and one may realise they don't want to necessarily leave the site or stop accessing it completely forever, rather just for sometime, till they feel better about being here and that's pretty valid too. To take your time and do what feels best to *you*, at the end of the day, it's your comfort and wellbeing that matters the most.
Little breaks can do wonders, we can also try to take breaks from certain spaces that feel more demanding/uncomfortable or just unattractive to us to participate in and try exploring around more or sticking around more where it still feels good to be us or has the potential to expand our comfort space in.
I do it so often as well, taking partial breaks from spaces, people, roles, activities/ contributions around the site~ what feels good, feels good; what doesn't, shouldn't have to over-power me or my emotional well-being.
I'm glad you've reconsidered your decision and hope you can find some friends again, you're a great person to have around from what I've gathered a little from the teeny bit forum interactions here and there hehe and certainly deserve to have many compassionate and caring people to talk to.
Looking forward to see you around more.
