How do you live with sociophobia?

Can someone tell me about their experience and if you had/have any therapy and treatments and how is it going? How long do you experience it? How did you understand that something is wrong? How is it interrupting you to live fully?

It seems like no one except me struggles with it, I'm feeling very lonely about it, even just "you're not alone" text will help

I wish happiness to everyone and thank you to whoever answers, I will appreciate it

@energeticKitten1977 you're unique and carry a special purpose no one else has.

Regarding sociophobia - its okay to have anxiety with respect to socialising. It doesn't make you inferior to anyone. It's part of your quest to find yourself. You can work to make it better - social skills can be developed in a way you don't have to change yourself to please them and neither cross anyone's boundaries. It may start with hit and try... and then you get more confident in the game.

For me social anxiety comes from color-related issues mostly. So I find online socialising better because people can't see you. But over time I've also found better acceptance from real interactions... so things don't remain the same.

Focus on finding ways to think and feel positive. Prioritise your health.

And - have goals in mind. That will take your mind off socialising as a goal and make it something that happens on the side as a natural consequencd of being human, while you're to to pursuing your goals true to your individual mission. This is really important. Sometimes we put social fitting in as such an exalted level of achievement, that we miss out on goals that could serve our purpose better.

Hope this helps a little:)
