I was supposed to get court married and when we were more stable have a 'legit' wedding and he called it off tonight..

i am really sorry about that dear. When we know that something will happen we automatically start planning for it in our minds so it must have been shocking or disappointing. So whatever you are feeling is totally valid and we are here to support you.

However you decide to feel is totally okay.
not knowing and knowing how to feel can be unsettling sometimes as you enter the realm of unknowing, but thats okay, you have experienced something life changing today.
Personally I would say your handling it pretty well by being able to talk about it in the first place, however everything happens for a reason and it just so happens that the life you thought you were supposed to have wasn't actually your life at all and in actual fact your life is just beginning.
