Hey! I just joined this community, in general this site. The listener function has helped me multiple times. There are nice people there, I think I might wanna try and help myself instead of...waiting for other people to do it.

I just don't know where to start. I am 17 year old, and in school. I wanna learn things like art, coding and actually study so I can achieve in school. It's honestly something that feels unreachable. I am dealing with low energy levels, like...really low. I feel tired after being awake for 1 hour and feel like I can't do anything useful anymore the rest of the day. I also struggle a lot with physical complaints about my body. It's too much to dive into deeply, and it's holding me back a lot. Going to the doctor doesn't help. They have done tests, drained my blood, checked it. It's all good.

My day currentely consists of one hour of work -> school -> get home drained and fall flat down on my bed and days I don't go to school I do an hour of work -> play games and struggle not to touch my bed cause I know sleeping a lot is bad -> finally go to sleep in the evening. It feels like im wasting my days, but I can't do anything about it.

I don't know what I will achieve with this thread. I don't know if anyone here can give me advice that will get through my stubborn mind. I don't know but I do know is that I want to live my life again.

Did you get your vitamin D tested?

I was having extreme fatigue and couldn't get out of bed. Till I did my vitamin d test and learnt I was deficient in it.

@Creamyyy I did! I was extremely deficient in it 2 months ago, so we solved that luckily. I got good levels now.

@HonerarySimp Hi. Once a long time ago I felt totally drained. Went to the doctor repeatedly, nothing found. I thought I might be dying. Finally someone said, have your doctor check for mononucleosis. Doctor tested me again and that is what it turned out to be.

@HonerarySimp They checked your thyroid? Bone mass? Blood sugars? Adrenal gland? White cell count? These are my totally non-qualified guesses as a non-doctor. Are you getting copies of the lab reports sent to you? Some labs test within a particular range that might be different from another range. I guess the thing I’m saying is it actually took me asking the doctor to check something HE should have known to check. You might have to become your own doctor/detective for possible diagnosis. Never be your own doctor for treatment - that can potentially be dangerous.

— All the best
