I don't know if I'm wrong
I’m reaching out because I’m feeling overwhelmed by everything happening in my life, especially with my family. It feels like no matter what I do, nothing is ever good enough. I’m constantly under pressure, and it seems like my efforts go unnoticed and unappreciated.
One of the biggest sources of frustration for me is the expectation that I should take over the shop because my parents hired incompetent workers. They rely on me to make things work, yet they won’t even pay me for the time and effort I put in. Instead of recognizing the hard work I do, they just tell me that I’m useless and worthless. They tell everyone that I’m no good, that I’ll never amount to anything, and that I’m just a burden to them.
This has been eating at me for a long time. They paint a picture of me that others believe, and it hurts when people tell me I’m not like that—when they tell me I’m capable, but it feels like my family doesn’t see that. They don’t appreciate what I do, and all they ever focus on is how I’m not living up to their expectations. I’m told that I’ll never be anything, that I’ll never make it, and that everything bad that has happened to me is deserved, as my brother so harshly said.
It’s crushing. Every time I try to speak up or explain myself, it feels like they don’t listen, like I’m just a problem that needs to be fixed. The pressure to be perfect, to succeed, and to carry everyone’s weight on my shoulders is too much. They don’t understand the toll it’s taking on me. They just expect me to do everything, without acknowledging how hard it is or how much I’ve sacrificed. I’m stuck feeling like I’m constantly failing, and no matter how hard I try, it’s never enough.
On top of everything, they expect me to manage everything in life, without giving me the time or space to actually handle it. They don’t see how much I’m struggling to keep everything afloat. The pressure is suffocating, and I’m falling behind in every aspect of my life. It’s hard to keep going when everything feels like it’s crumbling and when I don’t feel like I have the support I need to get through it.
I’ve tried to step back, to find some space to breathe, but the judgment and the weight of these expectations just keep piling on. I can’t take it anymore. I’m frustrated, lost, and feeling like I don’t know how much longer I can keep pretending that everything’s okay when it really isn’t.
I just feel tired, maybe they were right, I'm not who my friends think I am, I'm not a good person, I'm not a helpful person and I'm just destined to hurt everyone who'll ever get close to me. I mean after all who wouldn't feel like that? I've had my older brother tell me he'd beat the living *** out of me for what I did and that I deserve all the bad things that'll come my way alongside all the things that have. I'm just done at this point
So please, if I'm wrong, tell me I'm wrong, don't hold back, I've had enough of the lies

I'm really sorry you're feeling like this... and I want you to know that what you're going through is valid and real. The pressure you're under is incredibly heavy, and it must feel like there’s no space for you to just be without constantly carrying everyone else’s expectations :( It’s heartbreaking that you’re not receiving the appreciation and support you deserve, especially from the people who should lift you up.
What you're experiencing, the constant criticism, the feeling of being unheard, and the unrealistic expectations placed on you, is unfair. No one should have to carry that burden without acknowledgement of their hard work, and no one should be made to feel worthless, especially by the people who are supposed to love and support them.
It’s really painful to feel like you’re being boxed into a negative image by your family, especially when that doesn’t align with who you are or who others see you to be. Just because your family isn’t able to see or recognize your worth, doesn’t mean that it’s not there. You are not the reflection of their harsh words. It’s easy to internalize those things, but please remember that they’re speaking out of their own frustrations, and it’s not a reflection of your value... You are worthy, you are capable, and you are deserving of kindness and support, even if your family isn’t providing it right now.
Moreover, it's really painful that your brother, instead of supporting you, added to the emotional weight by saying such hurtful things. His words are cruel, and they do not define who you are. No one deserves to feel that way, least of all from someone who should be a source of comfort. Please know that none of what he said reflects your true character.
I can hear how tired and overwhelmed you are, and I want to remind you that it’s okay to not be okay. It’s okay to feel lost and frustrated. You’re only human, and carrying all of this alone is too much. You don’t need to pretend everything’s okay when it’s not. You deserve to have your voice heard and your pain acknowledged, and I’m glad you reached out because it’s important that you don’t carry this alone.
You are enough just as you are, even if others aren’t recognizing that right now. You’re doing your best, and that’s all you can do.
Take care of yourself. I’m here if you need someone to listen, no judgment, just support 💛

I really appreciate all you've said but the truth is I feel like a burden more than anything to everyone, I hear what I am from my family but my friends tell me something else. They paint me as this "good guy" or some selfless person but the truth is I'm none of that, and it just all feels so contradicting. I know I'm not a good person, and the love they've shown me and continue to show me, I'm not deserving of any of that, and all they say that I do can be easily explained. I'm there for others cuz I know what it feels like to not have someone for you, I make jokes because I know what it is to hurt inside and not be able to tell anyone and just wanting a reason to laugh, I try to be considerate cuz I know what it feels like to be misunderstood, I give love because I know what it feels like to not feel loved sometimes and at the end of the day I do all this because I want to make up for what I am and who I was. I just end up hurting everyone that I love and always end up being something I never wanted to be. I just don't know why people care about me because I don't deserve it
@combatlist I may not know you but You are a good person. don't let anyone make u doubt yourself
