I don't know what my purpose is in life.
I have said this before, but when I was in school, everything came hard for me. If it wasn't for the fact that I was in a learning disability program which helped coach me through some of it, I may not have ever graduated from high school. But what is even worse then that, is I don't feel like I even know what I really enjoy doing. Yes there are somethings I have an interest in. But my point is, I'm not awesome about those things either. Now that I need a new job, I got to face again that my skill level might not be high enough to be able to contribute to society.
@tryingtosurvive2024 it takes time to figure out your purpose and your purpose too evolves with time. So embrace the process of experimentation. And even if you enjoy things a little bit, it is better to invest in that direction, because joy is worth your time and it is quite likely that the enjoyment you experience will grow ... and if it dwindles down, you can branch off into some other avenue which piques your curiosity and there can be a nice wave of enjoyment .... trust the process.
@Creamyyy When I was a kid, other people knew what they wanted to be when they grew up. I had not direction then, and now that I'm 45 I still don't. How long do you think it will take me? 🤪
@tryingtosurvive2024 we all grow at our own pace. Comparisons with others are futile. Your journey is about you, not about anyone else.

If you have a conflict of interests you can share here and perhaps people can give you some insights on basis of which you can figure out your next direction.
There aré a Lot of people who study one carrera, then change in anorher and another... Dime people haré His / ger job because the vocation Is not un there, there a lot of variations... So, don't feel bad, You have an advantage: you can put un words and face your problema, so investigate, something Will appear and you can ask for help from friendas and family, they can tell you things about you taht you don't know ir nirice, so useful for you. :)

I think this is a good idea to take a vocational test. You can improve your actual sckills so don't sorry. Tale a notepad an write un a extensivo way about what things do you like to do, the things that you aré not godd, basically make your personal FODA. You need to know you, Me and everyone have unexplored talents and we have a whole life to discover them. :)
@Tristona When I was in High School I took a vocational test. That stuff didn't work out for me. Now that I don't have a job anymore. I didn't like my job anyways. It didn't feel right anyways. I have called vocational rehab, and I hope they will give me another vocational test. I really need to figure out what I can fit into. Thank you for your comment.
Heyy...we are on same boat ,I am searching for a employment aswell. Finding a job is a hustle.but please don't loose hope .keep on pushing.. I am doing same trying my best remembering about family and future..may now feel like stuck but this just a part.. and u r not alone ..
@Honeyjunnu I kinda ran out of places to apply for. I am hoping that vocational rehab will help me. Some places are short handed and can't seem to get anyone. I wonder if it is because they make it too hard for people, to apply and interview.
It's just so difficult to even get our resume for shortlisting.. They say to create a ATS friendly resume yet no use..addition to it takes weeks to get response from few places..just select a resume if it alligns with their requirements proceed with further process and get over with it.. but no ,they just keep us waiting in hope
