I’m Lonely… Talk to Me?
I’m putting out a similar post to what others have made recently… Struggling a bit, requesting someone to talk to and distract me… The nights are harder than the days. My texts are silent, 7Cups is silent, I’m bored and lonely, and on the less-good days, my mind wanders into a deep depression. Today, I’m ok, just feeling a bit lonely, no one to talk to… None of my friends are texting me back and the forums are too quiet for me… Talk to me about anything? Random topics, stories, games, news, things going on in your life, tell me about that pretty bug you saw outside today, I don’t care what it is, just keep me company. Not just tonight, but in general. Life gets lonely over here…
No creepy or weird conversations, please. Just good conversation, make me think, let me find new friends, etc. Recommend good kids’ and YA books, tell me about good shows and movies on Netflix, come up with random ideas for icebreakers I can make, tell me about fun things you learned at school, suggest a new hobby, ask me questions, get to know me <3 Anything goes. Random is fun! <3

Favorite cake that’s not technically a cake? (ex tiramisu, cheesecake, crepe cake, etc)
Pancakes or waffles? My philosophy is great pancake > great waffle, mediocre waffle > mediocre pancake

I love cheesecake!! But honestly it depends on my mood if I’d prefer it over crepe cake..
I’d also choose waffles most of the time! And I LOVE oranges!! I feel like I could ramble on about sweet stuff forever lol

hey there. im new here too, infact i just joined today. im feeling somewhat the same. moreso hopeless when it comes to my life. i struggle greatly with overthinking to the point i freeze and i cant do anything. people around me start to notice. it becomes alienating at times. it impacts school and social life.
a lil bit ab me tho: i love deep and philosophical talks. im a HUGE yapper. i like to question the little things. i like rock. i like psychological and heartbreaking shows/movies. i feel deeply, some might say more than others. but i can be creative when i put my mind to it.. not so much recently tho.

Jordan, you actually sound awesome, even if you do overthink things at times. I'm 68 yrs old, when l was a kid nobody was overthinking anything. Ha. I think social media can be counterproductive as far as overthinking. I don't know the answer to NOT doing it other than force yourself into some activity that keeps you mind away from it, even something as simple as putting together a 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle! When you find yourself overthinking, sit down and start trying to put pieces in. It's hard to think of two things at once! If you really make yourself put pieces in the puzzle, it's impossible to concentrate on your overthinking maybe? I do this puzzle thing to combat chronic pain, if l really get into the puzzle, 2 hours may pass and l realize l haven't noticed my pain! I bet it would work for overthinking just as well. I've tried woodworking and making bracelets with para-cord, which also keeps your mind occupied, but nothing so far has worked as well as puzzles. I have worked about 25 of them so far. Just an idea? (they fit perfectly on a card table.)

I really love the voice actors Audible picked for them because sometimes they are really bad lol. But these actors are really 👌
Speaking of voice actors, I love the guy that got to read the KJV version of the Bibleon the Bible app. He has a British accent. Hehe

Oh really?! I'm a Texan so I love British accents lol. To be honest I like most accents I play like mental games where I guess where the person is from lol I'm weird.

Keira, l finally saw your profile. No wonder you sounded so mature! Ha. And talk to me about what you said! Is it off limits to talk to teens, where l can see that predators would be a huge danger! Should l be careful about talking to folks who seem young?
