I'm not sure if I want to stay in my relationship
Hi! So I'm in a relationship and I'm not sure if I want to stay in it..I think I'm falling out of love with them because I've realized we rarely see each other, I've been kinda distant without realizing..and I know this sounds really bad but I think I might be interested in my friend but I haven't known him for long so I'm not sure, I would never cheat and if I actually plan on letting him know if I do figure it out I will/would break up with my partner first. I just worry I'll regret it because I'm debating on just not dating for a bit or breaking up but idk😓
Any advice?? Please be honest as possible, I'm fine with it :)
I wanna start off by saying, a romantic love relationship requires effort and investment. Even if both of you are busy, taking the time to see each other and do things together or just quietly hang out strengthen the relationship.
When you mention regret here, I feel you’re doing the plan A and plan B. You are not faithful and dedicated to your current partner and weighting your opportunity with your friend.
Saying if you plan to confess to your friend you will break up with your partner first so you are not cheating, sound very wrong as if you are stringing your partner along until you don’t need them anymore.
If you are not interest and is not willing to invest in your current partner and/or there are things that can’t be solved then there is no point in staying together.
I am no expert in relationship but I believe strongly that throughout life, you’re gonna meet, encounter, see etc people you find attractive and mash very well and this is gonna tempt you. It may benefit you to learn how to strengthen your relationship with your partner and how to prioritize the relationship you have build; n of course how to expression this to your partner making sure you both are on the same page before committing.
