Is it all in my head
When you live a life of solitude you learn a few things
- How to be find comfort in your own presents and almost crave it
- You become introspective and almost become your own soundboard/therapist
- How humans work and how to adjust so you cater to them
- How to almost not need anyone
In theory, these all sound great but in practice, the truth is its a double edge. When you have no one and go through things you become the only person that can filter through your emotions. There is no one there to tell you if what's happening is really happening or if its just your emotions changing how you see it. On another hand we all view the world differently so is it my emotions filtering my view or really how it is.
Is it in my head?
If it is, I’ve put myself through a lot of hurt for no reason.
I don’t trust
There is no one in my life I trust fully
So it's hard for me to be completely open
I've learned that trusting other people can lead to hurt
I refuse to give other people the bullets to hurt me
But maybe its all in my head
@callmeRM so maybe I think the following is true…
Everything, even the “correct” interpretation of a situation is still all in your head. It is nice to have another human around to tell them what’s in our head and get another perspective sometimes. Even then, it’s all in our head.
It is possible to take other's perspectives into account without being attached to the person itself: just take it as it is, an opinion within millions others.
It is then up to you to assess it within the scope of your own situation and decide what to do with it.
