Lonely
My co-workers are all friends with each other, go out and text each other everyday. I went out with them when I happened to be around and I thought we had a lot of fun and they liked me. But actually I am never invited to things and when I am, it’s either last minute or because I happened to be there, not because anyone has texted me….
Why don’t people like me?
@diligentPineapple7848
This has happened to me a few times but it was because i really do not have things in common.... they like to drink a lot and i do not drink..... and they are more interested silly together y things and i am more mature
Do they have more history together etc?
@diligentPineapple7848 I don't think it's because your co-workers don't like you but rather, they're just not close enough with you yet. Maybe over time as you get to know them even more, they'll start inviting you more. It could also be because of different interests. Your co-workers might have different hobbies than you so when they do things they don't invite you because it might not peak your interest. Sending best of luck your way!
@diligentPineapple7848 I don't think its people don't like you, it's more some people don't want to try to get to know someone new because getting to someone takes work, and a lot of girls I've noticed are fake when it comes to being friends. hate to say it but it's true. they already have their own group of people so having to include someone else for them is a chore so they do the acting game where it's like omg we didn't know you were interested, or oh yeah we all got super busy and just forgot to text you but if you want to join in you can. it's never a genuine interest for you to join. my advice would be find people or someone who actually cares and genuinely wants to hang out and get to know you. I mean honestly what are these co workers bringing you? definitely not feeling included or interesting in any way. so just slowly start avoiding them but still be nice, don't go out of your way to invite them anywhere, or answer their text right away
