So I’ve been talking to this guy for four months if u want details lmk. Anyways I’ve been anxious and we aren’t anything official because he hasn’t asked but we already said the “ily” word. Anyways I was talking to my friend about him (we got in contact after years of not talking) and he was like what did u say to her? I was like nothing bad? I asked him do u talk to me to ur friends? He was like no just here and there I talked to my best friend (a girl) about you and she hates you and says I deserve better. So everything I tell him he tells her tell me I’m not crazy. Yea we argue (I’m new to this long distance thing) but I don’t air out our business am I crazy for how he talks to this best friend that is a female? Or am I just crazy?

Hiya @sunnyOrange956 welcome to the community. 💛

I hear you're feeling really anxious about your situation, and it’s completely valid to experience such anxiety inducing worry.

You've been investing time and emotions into this connection for four months, and it makes sense to want clarity about where things stand, especially after saying "I love you." I feel sometimes we get into the feel of things and get more expressive, but I understand your concern around needing some more clarity and just something more "official" for y'all.

The fact that he discusses your relationship with his friend, especially when she has negative opinions about it, could understandably make you feel uncomfortable.

It's okay to feel uncertain about his friendship with her, especially if you feel like your relationship isn't being respected. I'd likely feel the same if I were in a similar situation, for I too am a believer that no third person should be involved or have any say in a relationship shared by two people.

It's really important that you're considering these feelings and reaching out for perspective. Navigating long-distance relationships can be tough, and arguments can add even more stress, unfortunately.

You're not crazy for questioning his actions, you're just trying to figure out what feels right for you and hey, you deserve that autonomy.

Have you thought about how you want to address your concerns with him? Communicating openly might help clarify things and alleviate some of that anxiety you’re feeling. More so, in a long distance situation.

Please remember, long-distance or not, 4 months or less/more,  you deserve to feel valued, respected, heard and emotionally safe in your connection/relationship. Open and honest communication, asking for clarity, being honest about how you feel and voicing your feelings should be the bare minimum for any romantic bonds we are trying to nurture.

I do hope y'all are able to talk things through.

Oh and again and in bold for a little extra emphasis, noooo, you are *not* crazy for questioning things and sharing how you feel.💛
