Lost in life
well my life is going bad again i guess. i ruined a talking stage i had with a guy because im dumb and i was moving too fast. he said i was saying bf and gf type of things, which not gonna lie i was. and i even noticed i was and took a step back, but it was too late. he was also kinda doing the same thing but mine was worse. he ultimately blocked me and didnt say anything. i had him on my other account and built up the courage 2 days later (aka today) to send a voice note and respectfully ask why he blocked me and apologizing for anything i may have did wrong. he said i was moving too fast and him and his friends thought it was best if we stopped talking. i was chasing the closure so im glad he answered because i thought he wouldn’t. i’m very emotionally mature and like to take these things as learning experiences, but it still hurts. i messed it up. i moved to fast which caused us to stop talking. also not too mention summer is coming up. i basically have no friends, i have nothing that great to look forward to, and it’s gonna be like last summer all over again. last summer was definetly one of the worst times of my life. but now it’s even worse bc my 2 bsfs r moving they are twins, ngl i haven’t even liked them anyways because they are bad people but still. i have literally no one. no job yet. i don’t even know it’s just a lot rn and im just so lost. i miss the guy i was talking to and wish i could undo it but all i can do is grow from it.

To start with, you’re not dumb and you didn’t ruin anything. What really happened is that the emotions you felt for him were so strong that they pushed you to go all in.
There’s nothing wrong with feeling deeply or being intense. The only thing you might need to work on is choosing who to show that level of emotion to not everyone is capable of embracing it. Most people are used to being distant, detached, and emotionally unavailable.
Ironically, when someone shows genuine care, people often don’t know how to handle it. Their defense mechanism almost like a form of self-deception kicks in, and they choose to pull away to protect themselves. In doing so, they walk away from the opportunity to be with someone who would have stood by them through both the good and the bad.
But here’s the thing: even if it’s painful and complicated, you’re the one who gained something here. By blocking you, he showed a lack of trust and commitment toward you and the connection you were building.
The good part is that you’ve gained valuable experience that will serve you in the future. Just try to take things step by step with the next person you choose. I understand that you want to give your all from the beginning, but only do that when the other person has shown they truly deserve it. Otherwise, take your time to feel things out and see if it’s really worth it.
Even if it feels like you messed things up or lost something, you actually gained the opportunity to find someone who will truly love you and stand by you even in the moments when you can’t carry yourself.
So take it easy.
Express everything you need to, let those heavy emotions and thoughts out, and once you’ve done that, keep moving forward with your life.
This time, stronger and wiser.
