Hi y'all, today I came up this crazy idea xD 😌
This thread is something me n @trueconfident123 put together just for fun… n maybe a little chaos ヾ(*’Ｏ’*)/
n Last night, I was chatting with ppl in a chatroom, and somehow the convo shifted to paranormal stuff. One random user started saying things like “a lady is watching me” and shared how they n their parents experienced strange activities at home.
Honestly, I found it interesting... I’m really into horror movies n paranormal things, so it just made me curious to hear more 😌
So yeah… this is a safe space to share anything scary or unsettling, real or not.
You can drop:
— Horror stories (real or made up)
— Nightmares that felt too real
— Urban legends you’ve heard
— Childhood tricks/pranks u did to scare ur friends 👀

Yesterday, I was literally reading others' creepy experiences here … little did I know I would be here the very next day sharing my own, omg 😨
Well, idk if it's creepy or horror but it is what actually happened
So about an hour ago, my sister was casually recording sc videos; just normal stuff - like a mini vlog we were laughing, messing around so basically nothing unusual at all. Everything felt completely normal in real life.
After she recorded a bunch of clips, our mom asked to see what we were doing. So my sister opened the very first video she recorded … and that’s when things got weird.
The video was in slow motion (sounds normal but it wasn't .. read till the end you'll know why I said it wasn't)
The thing is - she NEVER turned on slow motion. None of us even know how to do that on sc without editing afterward. It just… recorded like that on its own.
But that wasn’t even the worst part .... the audio!!
Our voices sounded extremely deep and distorted; nothing like normal sound effects or filters. It wasn’t robotic either. It sounded … unnatural fr!!!
Almost like something trying to mimic a human voice but slightly off 😱
It was so disturbing that we couldn’t even finish watching the video.
Here’s where it gets even stranger:
My sister tried to edit it and during editing, the voice sounded completely normal again like nothing was wrong. But as soon as she saved it, the distorted voice came right back.
Every other video she recorded after that was completely fine. Normal speed, normal audio, nothing strange.
Just that one video !!!
And the worst part is … I’ve heard that exact kind of voice before. In an episode of Aahat (for those who don't know it's a horror and supernatural anthology series)
There was a possesed character with the exact same deep, unnatural voice. We actually watched that episode in full daylight with my cousins and still couldn’t finish it because it was so disturbing.
After comparing it again just now, I realized something even worse, the voices are almost identical. The only difference is that our video’s voice is slightly slower and more distorted.
There was no lag, no low storage issue, no background apps and no filters applied. Everything was normal while recording. In real life, nothing sounded strange at all, only in the video.
I’m not saying anything supernatural happened but I genuinely can’t explain it.
Has anything like this ever happened to anyone else? Or does anyone know what could cause something like this?
Because honestly … it didn’t feel like a normal glitch.

People likely won't believe me, but this actually happened to me.
When I was younger a female friend of mine asked for help moving out. I said yes...Ended up that meant driving to her Grand parents place to pick stuff up. Was told that the place was haunted by a child who dies on the farm. But, he was harmless (just don't set your keys down).
I got there and felt like I was being watched the whole time.
I carried a chair to the truck and when I turned around a young boy was standing there staring at me with dead eyes...I blinked and he was gone.
After a while I finially went back in and saw my friend looking through an old photo album. I saw the kid I saw at the truck in a photo. The paper beside said his name and that he died in a farming accident on that property. Still creeps me out.
I have other true stories...
Oh wow that is super creepy, I am curious when you saw the boy did he look sort of shimmery or solid!?
I too have a ghost or poltergeist whatever we call the ones who are mischievous and hide keys and such!
As I mentioned mine have stayed away ever since I did some sage and salt remedies and house blessings!
When my daughter was about 7 I saw a girl in a white flowing gown standing in our kitchen just looking at the oven. I was in the living room so just far enough to not quite see her face.
She had a long white flowing gown like a night gown you see in old westerns!
It was late so I asked what are you out of bed?
Thinking it was my daughter, she looked at me and just backed away out of sight.
After the fact I realized she was somewhat shimmery and see through!
But only after I went to see my daughter her was sleeping and clearly had not been out of bed!
I only saw her that one time!

When I saw him, I wouldn't say he was shimmery...he was dull...faded...I could see through him, but it was like looking through a thick fog.
Poltergeists throw things. He just liked to play games and hide things is what I was told...until I saw him.
Here's another true story...
There used to be an old abandoned house just off the highway on the way to my Uncle's place. Passed it hundreds of times. One day my friends and I decided to stop and check it out. The second I walked in I felt watched.
The place had everything still there. Furniture, dishes, food in the cupboards, table set, kids homework on the desks, toys...everything. There were claw marks in the walls...
we went to go into the basement. I could not go past the doorway. My one friend was a body builder at the time (he could bench more than double my weight). He couldn't push me through the door and I wasn't holding onto anything.

It seems more like a movie where a group of friends are attacked by a ghost or devil by breaking into a haunted house or by sending invitations directly to the demon or devil in the name of an odd game 🤧😭? Why even did you guys do that? Where have all of you found the courage? Did the body builder guys say, "I'll punch those ghosts if they come?" 😂?
By the way, Kudos to you and your friends for still being alive 👀😂! And one more thing! Er uhm... Remember to join me when you and your friends try to do such things again 😅😌 because I'm more like those movies! People 😅!

We stopped in just to check the place out. We had driven past it for years and were curious. We were only there about an hour...maybe two, and it was middle of the afternoon.
