Need a little reassurance
Hey everyone, I’m kinda freaking out about an endoscopy I have coming up. I keep worrying something will go wrong, even though I know it’s common. If anyone’s been through it or has any advice, I could really use some reassurance right now. Thanks 🙏🏼

It is understandable to be apprehensive about any procedure that is being performed on you. Those Endoscopy offices are everywhere now, due to the fact that the procedure is so common. I have not ever heard of anyone having any issues with one. What I hear most people say about is, "Oh, it was nothing-I was out the whole time." Do you have any coping skills to help you out until the procedure is complete?
i’ve been pretty anxious about the sedation and the whole procedure, but i’m trying to remind myself that it’s a very common procedure and that i’ll be okay. i’m taking it one day at a time and working on my coping skills. your reassurance really means a lot to me. 🙏💚

Put ur heart on heart and says I am safe.
I trust doctor and it process.
N take deep breathe.
It will help u to regulate ur anxiety.
I also feel fear of unknown or something I haven't experience.

I just had one about two weeks ago, and I was also super nervous. The doctor assured me that it was a very safe procedure and that I had nothing to worry about.
I was really scared before the procedure, but afterwards I realised that it was the most peaceful thing I've ever experienced.
