Need some advice(or even just a second opinion) on whether this friendship is worth rekindling

So essentially exactly one year from today, I overdosed due to Schizophrenic delusion. In the process, i hurt everyone around me. Including my best friend, who I will refer to as S.

S has been my friend for the past 3 years, we were pretty close.. Actually, my first ever best friend, ive never really had one before her. Looking back though, I think I helped her more than she helped me. I never really opened up to her. Idk havent had the courage to go back through our messages. I helped her through possibly her worst times, and always tried to be there. We would talk for hours, and stay up till 1 sharing music with each other.

After the OD tho, she said to me that, she would probably act weird around me and needed some space. I knew I did hurt everyone so I did accept and agree. Then after that, her and all my friends that knew about my OD seemed to distance themselves from me. We still sat at the same lunch table, but what began to happen is theyd make plans n talk about parties in front of me, not even acknowledging or asking if I could go, not once (happened more than several times). Shes to type to text first, but after that, I became the one to always text first, checking in, how was their week. Half of the times I'd get left on read, I stopped trying to talk to her about a month ago. We havent ever had a real conversation since.

I do (somewhat) understand her actions. Logically, if something hurt you, you wouldn't want anything to do with it anymore. But no matter how much I try to reason with myself, it still hurts, everytime I try to say Hey in the halls, or text, and get ignored n left on read. It might hurt for me but I know I hurt her bad with my OD. I'm on medication now, so Im relatively safe from delusions now, and am stable.

What do yall think? She was one of my first best friends, is this connection worth salvaging? Do I move on, if so how? I am really not good at making new friends, like at all.

@TwoFacedTim

If she reads your texts then you can tell her that you value her as a friend and anything else you want to or thank her for her past support etc.

i would suggest you look through old messages and see how the relationship really was in past. sometimes reviewing conversations you may see things you did not at the time

Many people might be freaked out on what to say to you if anything might be a trigger for you etc the whole OD thing may have them really feeling like they must walk on eggshells around you..... when people are uncomfortable they sometimes just slowly back away .......
